Your Retreat Setting

Sri Lanka is a land of contrasts, lush jungle, winding rivers, wildlife and the open ocean all existing side by side. It’s a place where nature feels close and alive, and where slowing down happens almost effortlessly. Even before stepping into the retreat, many women feel a shift simply by arriving here.

The retreat takes place in a private, boutique-style sanctuary tucked away in nature, surrounded by water and tropical greenery. The property is set along a quiet river, with open views, gentle breezes and abundant nature. Sitting in the garden, having breakfast or journaling between sessions, you’ll feel closely connected to the natural rhythm of the surroundings, with birdsong, flowing water and subtle moments of wildlife throughout the day.

The accommodation itself is calm, spacious and thoughtfully designed. Meet your guides for this Retreat

Your soul treats Liza maria en Maylu

Liza Maria is the founder and guide of this retreat and has been creating and leading women’s retreats for several years.

With a strong foundation in yoga and over 600 hours of training, including in-depth education in Ayurveda, she weaves ancient wisdom into grounded, accessible practices for modern life.

Her work focuses on stress regulation, self-understanding and living in rhythm with your natural energy. Rather than pushing or fixing, Liza creates spaces where women feel safe to slow down, listen and reconnect, supported by ritual, nature and thoughtful daily structure.

In Sri Lanka, she guides daily Ayurvedic-inspired yoga, breathwork, sharing circles and workshops, helping you translate the retreat experience into practical tools you can carry home with you.

Maylu Kuyper is a somatic movement and Yin teacher, whose practice is deeply rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and shaped by a life lived in close connection with nature. Guided by Ayurvedic principles and a hands-on relationship with the natural world, her work fosters softness, clarity, and lasting calm.

In Sri Lanka, she leads slow, intentional sessions combining long-held Yin postures, guided meditations, and gentle body-based exercises that help the nervous system settle and support the effects of Ayurvedic routines. Her classes are grounded, quiet, and nourishing, designed to release held tension and create space for rest, reflection, and integration.
